Miley Cyrus' skin show and suggestive dancing in the music video for her new single - Who Owns My Heart - has drawn the ire of a powerful parents' organization.
The video is a veritable skin fest, with 17-year-old Miley exposing a lot of her legs, sometimes wearing just panties. She is shown caressing her own exposed thighs.
The sexual innuendo peaks on the dance floor in a club: Miley is shown writhing as a man caresses her thighs and gyrating girl-on-girl. Her dance moves are mostly suggestive, never elegant.
Tim Winter, President of the Parents Television Council, tells TMZ, "It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualized video like this one.
"It sends messages to her fan base that are diametrically opposed to everything she has done up to this point."
In all fairness to Miley, she is going to be 18 next month and she has publically distanced herself from her Hannah Montana image.
As a YouTube viewer puts it, "She doesn't CARE what people say about her. She is being who she is, and she should be admired for it."
