Anil Kapoor is in negotiations with Paramount Pictures for what is being described as an "integral supporting role" in Mission Impossible 4, headlining Tom Cruise.
Earlier, sources had told Deadline.com, that Kapoor will play a villain in the film currently being shot in Prague, Czech Republic. However, Paramount says Kapoor will not be playing a villain in the film.
Tom Cruise will reprise his role as agent Ethan Hunt in the thriller that additionally stars Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Simon Pegg.
The film is being co-produced by Cruise and J.J. Abrams, and directed by Brad Bird (Incredibles).
Kapoor drew Hollywood attention with his performance in Slumdog Millionaire and followed up with a role in the final season of the Fox series 24.
