The couple’s connection in India began with their engagement. The couple visited the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal in honor of eternal love, and Katy later tweeted “He built this for me,” Katy tweeted, making a modern comparison between the two love stories.
Sources report Katy and Russell will be taking their entire wedding party on a tiger safari during their stay at Rajasthan wilderness camp the Aman-i-Khas, before the wedding.
“I’m trying to preserve it, to keep it a beautiful thing,” said Brand about his upcoming wedding. “I think people get the wrong idea on how we want the wedding to play out. Love between two people is the most spectacular yet ordinary thing in the world.”
