Winehouse’s shambolic interview sparks fears for her planned comeback

singer Amy Winehouse, who is attempting to get her career back on track by launching a fashion line and working on a new album, has sparked fears for her planned comeback after the publication of a shambolic new magazine interview.

A new article printed in Harper’s Bazaar magazine, which features Winehouse’s first official interview in months, has fuelled concerns for the troubled star.

The Black To Black hitmaker, who remained largely out of the spotlight over the last few years as she battled drug problems and a broken marriage, was seen “gulping down a big glass of wine” during the photoshoot with rocker-turned-photographer Bryan Adams and later became “physically unstable” and “wobbly”, according to the magazine.

Journalist Polly Vernon also claims that during the interview, Winehouse was unable to focus, mumbling “vague”, incoherent responses throughout the chat.

“I quickly realise, I am unlikely to get any answers. She is just not… present. She is distracted and vague. My most straightforward questions confuse her,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
