Amitabh Harivansh Bachchan born on October 11, 1942, is an Indian film actor. BIG B, the angry young man, the superstar of millenium, the shahenshah of Bollywood, the megastar, the legend, Amitabh Bachchan turns 67 on October 11, 2009. He is someone who likes to maintain a balance in everything he does.
Firstly, his much awaited television show Kaun Banega Crorepati goes on air on Monday. Secondly, Sony TV, the channel that will air the programme has planned a bash for the superstar at JW Marriot hotel in Mumbai. Big B will go to the event, cut a birthday cake and be part of the celebrations.
In ‘Alladin’, which released in October last year, he was seen as a genie; ‘Teen Patti’ featured him as a mathematics genius along with noted actor Ben Kingsley. His home production ‘Paa’, which saw him playing a child suffering from progeria causing pre-mature ageing, was a box office grosser. The film fetched Bachchan a national award this year.
