A report that Jim Toth is "planning to pop the question" to Reese Witherspoon is not true.
A source close to Witherspoon tells Gossip Cop that the report is not true.
"Jim knows Reese is the one for him. It's what he's been waiting for," another source tells People magazine. "[Getting engaged] is a natural step for them but they're not in a rush. There's no deadline, no timetable. But it's something in the future."
Us Weekly's new issue cover story suggests the couple's engagement is imminent;
Jim "is planning to pop the question," it quotes a source as saying. "Jim is ready. He's even designing the ring. He wants it to come from him and for it to be completely unique."
Reese started dating Creative Artists Agency (CAA) talent agent Jim Toth in January 2010, a month after she broke off with Jake Gyllenhaal.
Reese was earlier married to Ryan Phillippe. They have two children: a daughter named Ava Elizabeth, born September 9, 1999, and a son Deacon Reese, born October 23, 2003.
