John Mayer seems to have taken seriously Kim Kardashian's recent statement on radio that she is ready to date again!
According to a Page Six source, the celebrity fixated rocker was recently spotted on a group date with the reality TV star, currently in New York filming her new TV series - Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
"They brought along other friends, but the idea was to see if they would hit it off," said the source.
Earlier this month, Kim, who split with boyfriend Miles Austin in September, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show that she was ready to start living as a single.
"I never have really given it a shot to be single. I tried to play that role, but I really wasn't single. And now, I'm really officially on my own, and I'm in a whole different city," she said.
In December, Kim and John were spotted exchanging pleasantries in the lobby of Sirius XM.
