Deepika Padukone on a Roll

Deepika Padukone has two films lined up for release and three more in the works.

There is no looking back for the former model who says she prefers the challenge and risk of cinema.

"I also think, when a film does well, then there is a lot more sense of satisfaction," Padukone told ANI on Wednesday.

Deepika's forthcoming films are:

Danish Aslam's Break Ke Baad with co-stars Imran Khan, Shahana Goswami and Sharmila Tagore, set for release on November 26.

Ashutosh Gowariker's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey with co-stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Pollard, Monty Munford and Sikander Kher set for release on December 3.

About her forthcoming films, Deepika says [via ANI]:

"I have signed three new films, one is a new director called Rohit Dhawan, he is David Dhawan's son and his film is called Desi Boyz with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. So, that is one film.

"The one after that is Vishal Bharadwaj's film and the film after that is a film directed by Homi Adajania. He has made a film called Being Cyrus, and that film is being produced by Illuminati Films, the same films that produced Love Aaj Kal, and that is with Imran Khan."

The Vishal Bharadwaj film that Deepika is referring to is tentatively titled Dreams. The film has reportedly been delayed because of casting delays. Interestingly, on September 13, Bhardwaj told HT he is not directing Dreams. Was he just frustrated by the delays.

The Homi Adajania film is a dark comedy in Hinglish that will show life from the eyes of two protagonists, Saif Ali Khan and Prateik Babbar.
