Mom-to-be Christina Applegate looked effortlessly stylish and radiant in a polka dot frock arriving at the Ed Sullivan Theater for her appearance on David Letterman in NYC August 25.
Applegate, who is working the media promoting her new movie Going the Distance, wore a pink and black sleeveless dress with empire waist and a plunging neckline. She accessorized with black peep-toe pumps, dangle earrings and a bracelet in her right arm.
Her blond shoulder length hair was styled to match the playful dress, with choppy layers, vertical loose waves, and peek-a-boo bangs framing her forehead.
She wore pink lipstick and light eye makeup.
Earlier in the week, the Samantha Who? star showed off her baby bump at the premiere of Going The Distance in a draped Max Mara magenta purple dress.
A day before the red carpet event, Christina shared this funny note on her twitter:
"When a designer says they made a dress for you for an event and send over a size 2, they can rest assured my ass aint wearin it! What the ?"
The 38-year-old, who is in the second trimester of her pregnancy, says she is style challenged while being pregnant.
"It's a disaster! Picking something to wear is a disaster! My ass is as big as my stomach, so nothing really fits right! I kind of look like a knocked up Sandy from 'Grease" right now," she recently told Access Hollywood.
"You have to go through a lot of different styles and shapes to see what looks right on you," she said.
Christina got engaged to musician Martyn LeNoble on Valentine's Day 2010. The couple announced their pregnancy on July 21.
