John Mayer appeared to confirm reports that he and Jennifer Aniston had resumed dating during a performance at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, August 22.
John reportedly told the 18,000 fans attending the event:
"I believe in second chances! You might have been a pain in the a** the last time around, but you can still start over again from home base. Next time you get a text from the one you love just text back 'come over' - no matter what happened in the past. If you really love someone, just tell them and be with them."
According to Star Magazine, John has been trying to make up with Jennifer since the beginning of the year and was desperate for a face-to-face meeting. She finally relented this month and agreed to meet him, but insisted that their meeting be discreet.
John invited her to visit him in Manhattan.
"He paid for a private jet so no one would know," according to a Star magazine source.
