Uh-oh, Miley Cyrus is setting out to prove once again that she “Can’t be Tamed.” The controversial teen star will make yet another clear departure from her days as Disney’s Hannah Montana in LOL: Laughing Out Loud, an upcoming movie where she plays the role of a “teenage Aphrodite, minus the confidence,” PopEater.com reported Monday.
The film is a English-language revamp of a French coming-of-age movie will focus on the communication breakdown between a mother and her teenage daughter. In the upcoming comedy-drama, Cyrus’s character reportedly loses her virginity, smokes marijuana, kisses a female friend on the lips, gets drunk and accidentally shows her mom — played by actress Demi Moore — her Brazilian wax.
LOL: Laughing Out Loud — which also stars Thomas Jane and Ashley Greene — opens in theaters next year.
