Good girls finish last….at least at the newsstand.
Former Disney Kid Hilary Duff tied the knot with hockey player Mike Comrie in a captivating sunset ceremony in Malibu on Aug. 14, but the sale of the photos of the blessed event has been anything but magical for the clean-cut actress and her new husband.
We hear the newlyweds are in the midst of “renegotiating their deal” with OK! Magazine — who reportedly forked over $1 million for exclusive rights to snaps from Mike and Hilary’s wedding only to see the images bomb with glossy fans.
Well-placed snoops in The Publishing World tell The New York Post’s Page Six Column that OK! is hoping to wiggle out of paying the young couple the remaining $500,000 they are owed as part of the original agreement after the Aug. 30 “Mike & Hilary Wedding Issue” only sold a disappointing 290,000 copies.
