Aamir Khan sprung a big surprise arriving formally dressed in a black suit and bow-tie to support pal Salman Khan's Dabangg success party on September 26.
"I am very happy that Salman's 'Dabangg' got such a big success. That's why I have come to give him a hug and congratulate him. I would always pray that his film makes 10 times more than what '3 Idiots' did," Aamir told the media at the party.
Aamir, who came straight from GQ Awards, wore a buttoned black suit, white dress shirt, bow-tie and black dress shoes. Clean shaven and sporting a cropped hair do, Aamir looked youthful.
Earlier, Dabangg producer and Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan shared his happiness over the success of the film with his Twitter followers.
"Today is Dabangg's success party for the cast and crew. All people who have helped contribute in their own way to make it a grand success !" Arbaaz tweeted yesterday. Salman's happy state of mind was clear from his tweets prior to the party: "Party sharty kya ? Me too brutus . Going to spend time vit the guys who hv made dabangg. But b4 that vit u who hv made wat it has b cm ." Salman tweeted along with a couple photos of him from the car. "Reached vil try n send sm frm the party. Me party here u party thr .enjoy enjoy . Don't party too hard . Challo haan nw , me going in ." Salman added. Salman kept his media meet rather brief at the party: "Thank you so much. I am very happy," he said. Other than the Khan-daan and the Dabangg cast and crew, those present at the party included Farah Khan, Subhash Ghai, Chunky Pandey, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sonu Nigam, David Dhawan and Sajid Nadiadwala.
