Anil Kapoor plays himself in a cameo appearance in Tees Maar Khan, headlining Akshay Kumar, Akshaye Khanna and Katrina Kaif.
According to the Mumbai Mirror, Anil Kapoor plays an actor who has established himself in Hollywood. Akshaye Khanna's character is shown as being upset with Kapoor's success.
Explaining Kapoor's role, director Farah Khan says, "He comes towards the end of the film, but there is a constant mention about him throughout the film."
He is shown walking the red carpet at an awards ceremony, wearing the same suite that he wore at the Oscars in 2009.
He performs a "One Two Ka Four" dance from his 1989 film Ram Lakhan with the kids at the awards event.
