DJ AM Estate Hit With $88K Tax Bill

The estate of DJ AM has been hit with a $88,000 bill for unpaid taxes the late spinner racked up in California between 2006-2007, according to a creditor’s claim filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday.

Officials at the State of California Franchise Tax Board have filed legal documents in Los Angeles this month asking the star’s executors to settle the balance.

AM — real name Adam Goldstein — died from an accidental drug overdose on Aug. 28. Less than a year after surviving a fiery plane crash. He was 36.

He owned property worth $3.5 million and an additional $400,000 in assets, but his debts totaled $2.9 million.
