Selena Gomez: 'I don't know what love is'

Selena Gomez may have dated Nick Jonas but admits to being too young to know what love is.

The 18-year-old, who is cover girl for Latina magazine's October 2010 issue, dished on romance and growing up in the magazine's cover story.

Known to be perfectly grounded, she does have the urge to defy gravity every once in a while.

"I'm 18, but I feel like I'm still 15. I feel very young at heart, and I still want to jump up and down on my bed singing and rocking out," she says.

"You never really know when you're in love at this age. I don't know what love is."

While she may not know what love is, she is perfectly clear as to the type of person she wants to fall in love with.

"I would like someone who is not cool and who is really fun to be around and loves family and has good morals," she says.

Gomez, whose father is Mexican and mother half Italian, has been home schooled for most part.

If deference to her roots, she is keen to learn Spanish.

"I really need to learn my language. I practice, but I can understand it better than I can speak it," she tells the magazine.
