Carrie Underwood says life hasn't changed much for her following her marriage to Canadian ice hockey player Mike Fisher on July 10.
In her first interview since marriage, Carrie told ET:
"Everybody asks, 'How's married life?' and pretty much it's about like dating life -- you get married and there's a big hoopla and you go on your honeymoon and then you get back to work, which is good, because we're very focused people and we love what we do."
Carrie said she and Mike plan to stay busy with their respective careers, "so the phone is going to be our best friend."
As to having children, she says, "There'll be a time for that, and I think we'll know it when the time gets there, but it's not here yet, so we'll be waiting."
Carrie was recently appointed North American celebrity ambassador for Olay skin care. She will appear in print and TV ads in support of the brand's products.
"As a little girl I remember my mom always using the original Olay Beauty Fluid and encouraging my sisters and I to take care of our skin," Carrie said in a statement. "I love that Olay has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages who want affordable skin care products that do what they promise."
