Designer Gwen Stefani at New York Fashion Week

Gwen Stefani walked the runway wearing a dress inspired by African tribal wear at her L.A.M.B. Spring 2011 fashion show during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center on September 16, 2010 in New York City.

Her show, which presented Guatemalan, Japanese and Jamaican inspired collection, was the closing act for the week long Fashion Week that saw the biggest and the best in the business.

Stefani, 40, took the bow at the end of her show wearing a bright colored tribal print peplum jacket, a white tank, and a plaid skirt and legging combo with a tan leather belt.

She accessorized with black towering heels, matching cuff bracelets in both her arms and multiple rings on her right hand.

Her platinum blond hair was styled with a braided top updo. Scarlet lipstick, black nail polish on hands, and red toe nails rounded her runway look.

Her four year old son, Kingston Rossdale, joined her on the runway.

Fellow musicians, rapper Omarion and ex-Spice Girl Mel B, were front benchers at the show.
