Lady Gaga wowed in a Victorian inspired red, green and golden Alexander McQueen gown as she arrived at 2010 MTV VMA on September 12.
Gaga hogged attention at the event with 8 wins, interspersed with two wardrobe changes, each time into an over-the-top dress.
The 24-year-old walked the white carpet in a voluminous Alexander McQueen gown from the late designer's last collection.
The gown had a bejeweled high collar, renaissance-style art print on the fitted bodice, and tulle underlay for massive volume.
She accessorized with a gold feathered Philip Tracey hat and 12" armadillo heels by Alexander McQueen.
She had to be assisted by two uniformed helpers as she walked wearing the outrageous heels that she proudly exhibited to photogs by lifting her dress to the knees.
She wore a silver hair wig with blue bottom highlights. Her makeup was subtle.
She changed into a strapless black leather dress by the late designer to accept the Best Pop Video Award. She thanked the designer during her acceptance speech.
Her finale dress, which she wore when receiving Video of the Year Award from Cher, was a raw meat dress with a matching clutch and shoes.
