The Lady Gaga juggernaut is bringing some competition to the fragrance counter.
On Monday, bosses with beauty company Coty announced a newly-minted licensing deal with award-winning pop sensation Lady Gaga that will foster a multi-fragrance relationship between the company and the “Bad Romance” hitmaker. The company — which is responsible for signature scents from celebs like Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, and Halle Berry — will release multiple fragrances under Gaga’s names over the next several years, according to a scoop first reported by Women’s Wear Daily.
Little Monsters can expect the world’s first Lady Gaga Perfume for Women to start sending out sweet aromas in an area code near them in the Spring of 2012.
The news comes on the heels of an exiciting weekend for the outre songstress. Gaga was the big winner at Sunday nights’ 27th MTV Video Music Awards show in Los Angeles, taking home eight of the whopping 12 Moonmen she was nominated for.
