Katy Perry “California Gurls” No. 1 Song Of Summer 2010

Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” has joined The Beach Boys’ ’60s single of the same name as one music’s Top 10 summer friendly songs, according to Billboard.

On Thursday, the No. 1 charttoper — the soon-to-newlywed’s pop groove with West Coast rap star Snoop Dogg — topped the Music Bible’s annual survey of the hottest “Songs of the Summer.”

It seems to have been the season for collaborations: Coming in at No. 2 on the chart is Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna, followed by B.o.B’s “Airplanes” featuring Hayley Williams at No. 3, Usher’s “OMG” featuring Pitbull at No. 4, at No. 5 Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite,” and Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars’ reggae-tinged “Billionaire” snagged the sixth spot.

Rounding out the Top 10: Mike Posner’s “Cooler Than Me” at No. 7, Enrique Iglesias’ “I Like It” featuring Pitbull at No. 8, Drake’s “Find Your Love” at No. 9 and Eminem’s “Not Afraid” at No. 10.
