Grab Your Popcorn, ‘Crunchers: A chat with Lindsay Lohan could be one of the biggest coups of the 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show. The troubled singer/actress, 24, has not spoken to the press since serving a 14-day jail sentence and 22-day rehab assignment for violating her DUI probation back in August, but Lohan rumored to be in the middle of finalizing the terms for an exclusive TV interview with The Queen of Talk and 2010 Kennedy Center Honors honoree Oprah Winfrey.
“Things are heating up in a good way. Definitely some good conversations. We’re crossing our fingers it works out for Oprah’s last season,” a well-placed Oprah insider scooped in a chat with the celeb gawkers at RadarOnline.com this week.
However, another Lohan Camp mole cautions that a deal is not yet in place. “Several entities are being considered, and no decision has been made and won’t be for a while.”
No word yet on when Lohan would appear on the show if she does decide to talk to Oprah. The final season of Winfrey’s long-running daytime talk show will begin Sept. 13. The final episode of Oprah will air Sept. 9, 2011.
