Salman Khan's Bodyguard Remake: T-Series buys the Audio Rights


The audio rights for Salman Khan starring My Love Story, a remake of the Malayalam hit Bodyguard, have been bought by T-Series.

After the runaway success of the Dabangg album, T-Series - who share cordial relations with Khan - are delighted to have bagged the audio rights for Salman's next project as well.

Film's music will be scored by Pritam.

An Atul Agnihotri production is directed by Siddique who also directed the original headlining Dileep, Nayantara and Mithra Kurian. The filming is scheduled to begin in early December.

The female lead is yet to be finalized. Deepika Padukone was offered the role but she declined it due to scheduling conflicts. There were reports of Atul considering Sonakshi Sinha for the role.

T-Series the largest record-label in the country leads with more than 80 per cent market share in the Music Industry with $90 million in their core business of Consumer Electronics, CDs, Audio/Video Magnetic Tapes and Cassettes.
